England’s restrictions to curb the spread of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus have been extended until up to July 19, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on Monday evening. June 21 was previously penciled in the government’s road map to exit the lockdown as so-called “freedom day,” when all legal restrictions were due to be lifted. Protesters demonstrated at Parliament Square throughout the day to voice their objections.
