Both the Islamic-state linked insurgency known as Boko Haram and the Ansaru terror group have merged with bandit gangs in Nigeria’s northern states close to the nation’s capital, The Epoch Times has learned. This alliance threatens to worsen the violence afflicting this African nation. Cooperation between bandits and Boko Haram terrorists in the state of Kaduna was reported by controversial Sheik and kidnapping mediator Ahmad Gumi on Sunday when he summarized hostage releases in four different mass kidnappings of students since December 2020.
