As the film’s writer, director, and executive producer, she is perhaps best qualified to discuss the intentions behind this true story of a rebellious boxer turned priest. Some might be skeptical of Ross’s statement, coming from a Hollywood person. What would anyone involved in the often corrupt film industry know about changing for the better?
