Media reports say an RCMP officer has been stabbed to death at a homeless camp while assisting a bylaw officer in Burnaby, B.C.
Solicitor General Mike Farnworth says in a tweet the event that unfolded in Burnaby is awful and tragic.
He says hearts go out to the RCMP officer’s family, friends and fellow police.
