The vast majority of Americans will not vote for candidates who support transgender procedures for minors, a recent survey finds.
According to a recent national survey (pdf) from the Trafalgar Group, 72.7 percent of American voters say they are not likely to vote for a candidate who supports allowing minors to use puberty blockers or to undergo sex-change surgeries Only 27.4 percent said they are likely to vote for candidates who support transgender procedures for children. Among Republicans, the margin is 96.5 to 3.5 percent. Among independents, the margin is 79.2 percent to 20.7 percent. Among Democrats, 57.3 percent are likely to support candidates who favor gender transition procedures while 42.7 percent would not. …
