Anaheim businesswoman Ashleigh Aitken maintained a 5-point lead in the race for mayor as Gloria Ma’ae, Natalie Rubalcava, and Natalie Meeks held strong leads in their efforts to fill three city council seats, as of 5 p.m. Nov. 10.
Aitken leads opponents with 41.28 percent of the vote, followed by O’Neil with 35.83 percent, Lorri Galloway with 17.1 percent, and Dick Lopez, who has only captured about 5.78 percent of the vote.
If she wins, this would be Aitken’s first successful campaign. Two years ago, she ran for Orange County supervisor and lost against Don Wagner, receiving only about 48 percent of the vote….
