The trial of Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann is now over, but rather than provide a definitive answer on the origins of the Russiagate hoax, the trial has thrown up many new mysteries and unanswered questions.
Perhaps surprisingly, Durham’s overarching narrative was that the FBI was duped by Sussmann. It was a strange move but perhaps Durham’s only option given that he was facing a jury of twelve Washington residents where Democrats outnumber Republicans by 20 to 1.
