Chair of the House Republican Conference Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) criticized Democrats for what she said was a lack of action in dealing with the nationwide baby formula shortage.
“But what’s really struck me is the sheer incompetence of Joe Biden and House Democrats,” Stefanik told NTD’s “Capitol Report.” After the pharmaceutical company and top baby formula producer Abbott recalled baby formula being produced in its Sturgis, Michigan plant, in February, she said she asked the Biden administration for answers but did not receive any details about how they would prevent a continued shortage.
“I wrote a letter in February, reaching out to the FDA demanding, what is your plan?” said Stefanik, “We got no substantive response.”
