BALDWIN PARK, Calif.—A Sierra Vista High School student has been arrested for allegedly making emailed threats against the school, Baldwin Park police reported on June 1.
The arrest was made on Tuesday, the Baldwin Park Police Department reported. Police did not release the name of the male student, who reportedly is a freshman.
“On Wednesday, May 25, 2022, Sierra Vista High School staff received an email threat of explosive devices on campus, after classes had ended for the day,” police said in a statement. “A large police response was initiated including explosives detection canine teams from many local area police agencies.
