U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) who is on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, urged the Trump administration Tuesday to submit both the Iran Nuclear Deal and Paris Climate Agreement to the Senate as formal treaties so that the elected representatives of the American people can fulfil their constitutional role as a check and balance.
