SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif.—A man was fatally shot in San Juan Capistrano, and an investigation was underway Tuesday, authorities said.
The shooting was reported at about 9:20 p.m. Monday in the 26000 block of Calle San Francisco, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
The 33-year-old victim was found dead in a townhouse, but it was not clear if he lived there or not, sheriff’s Sgt. Scott Steinle said. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies did not release the name of the victim as they were working to notify his relatives, Steinle said.
No arrests have been reported, according to the sheriff’s department….
