BREA, Calif.—Brea Downtown was tasty and vibrant at the annual Taste of Brea festival on the evening of May 26, where residents were given a chance to take a break from their work week and enjoy food and drinks proudly made in Orange County.
Restaurants, small businesses, and community leaders came together to show the heart and rich life of Brea.
Cande Avila, executive director of the Brea Chamber of Commerce, had a great time surrounded by old friends.
“I went home beat,” Avila wrote on Facebook. “But it was worth the time and seeing Brea alive again.”
People started dancing away at the festival as the eight members of the Cold Duck “premiere dance” band created a space of energy for attendees with live music. The band certainly delivered on its philosophy as stated on its website—”Give the people what they want to hear and have a good time delivering it!”…
