Kailia Posey, former star of the reality TV show, “Toddlers & Tiaras,” died in recent days, according to her mother in an announcement on social media.
“I don’t have words or any thoughts. A beautiful baby girl is gone. Please give us privacy as we mourn the loss of Kailia. My baby forever,” Marcy Posey Gatterman, her mother, wrote on Facebook late Monday as she shared a photo of her daughter wearing a gown.
The teen had appeared on TLC’s “Toddlers & Tiaras” in 2012 when she was around 5 years old. Posey had continued to compete in beauty pageants after appearing on the show, and in January, she announced that she would compete in the Miss Washington Teen USA in February in an Instagram post.
