An attack by Russian forces on a television tower in Kyiv killed five people, the Ukrainian emergency services said in a televised statement on Tuesday. Footage released by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko shows the moment a projectile hits the tower before it is engulfed in flames and black smoke rises. Earlier, Russia’s defense ministry said it was planning to strike communications and intelligence sites in the capital that it said were being used for “information attacks,” media outlet TASS said.
