Critics have lambasted the Department of Justice (DOJ) for its recent decision to close the “China Initiative,” a Trump-era effort to thwart economic espionage from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). “The CCP has stolen trillions of dollars of American intellectual property, destroyed millions of American jobs, and turned students and researchers studying in the United States into foreign spies,” said Sen.
