Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Russia this week for a bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Pakistan’s Foreign Affairs Ministry said Monday. According to the ministry’s statement, Khan has accepted Putin’s invitation to visit Russia for a two-day visit beginning on Wednesday. “During the Summit meeting, the two leaders will review the entire array of bilateral relations including energy cooperation,” it stated. “They will also have wide-ranging exchange of views on major regional and international issues, including Islamophobia and situation in Afghanistan.” This will mark the first visit by a Pakistani leader to Russia in two decades.
