A bipartisan group of lawmakers have nominated Hong Kong’s pro-democracy movement for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize to recognize “all those who have built and maintained human rights and democracy” in the city. “We are nominating a movement that has peacefully advocated for and maintained human rights and democracy in Hong Kong since 1997 and continues to fight against the erosion of these rights,” a group of lawmakers led by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Rep.
