Two women have been charged after another woman was discovered with stab wounds in the boot of a car in the NSW Southern Highlands. The 24-year-old victim was found with wounds to her knee, thigh, and forearm after a tip-off from a concerned driver on February 3 who saw a hand waving from the rear tail light section of a white Holden sedan. Highway Patrol officers stopped the car just before midday on the Hume Highway at Berrima, with the woman taken to Liverpool Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Two other women – 24 and 18 – were arrested and taken to Southern Highlands Police Station. The 24-year-old woman was charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, abduction occasioning actual bodily harm, driving while disqualified and drug possession.
