SAN DIEGO—A 27-year-old man was killed and a second man was injured in a shooting in front of a neighborhood market near Mount Hope Cemetery in Mountain View on Feb. 15. San Diego Police Department (SDPD) officers were called about 2:40 p.m. to the 3600 block of Ocean View Boulevard on multiple reports of the shooting and found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound to his upper body lying on the sidewalk, according to a department statement. Officers provided first aid to the man, but he died of his wounds at the scene. His name was not immediately released pending notification of his next of kin, though police said he was 27 years old.
