A new budget airline Bonza has introduced the 25 flight routes it will serve between 16 regional destinations in the eastern states of Australia. The domestic carrier will transport passengers between the following locations: Albury, Avalon, Bundaberg, Cairns, Coffs Harbour, Gladstone, Mackay, Melbourne, Mildura, Newcastle, Port Macquarie, Rockhampton, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba Wellcamp, Townsville and the Whitsunday Coast. Bonza will launch ticket sales within two weeks while aiming to kick off its first flight in mid-2022 if the airline gets the green light from authorities. According to the company’s announcement, it will establish a home base in the Sunshine Coast Airport in Queensland, with Melbourne becoming its secondary base.
