INGLEWOOD, Calif.—A suspect wanted in connection with a fight outside SoFi Stadium that left a San Francisco 49ers fan in a medically induced coma was in police custody on Feb. 4. Inglewood police were tight-lipped about the circumstances of the arrest, with Lt. Geoffrey Meeks telling City News Service only that officials “are currently in the process of preparing a statement to be released regarding the circumstances of the incident sometime today.” Inglewood Mayor James Butts said the suspect was traced to his home in Montebello via surveillance video that showed the suspect’s car inside the stadium parking lot and someone talking with the suspect, CBS2 reported.
