Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer will retire, paving the way for President Joe Biden to appoint his first Supreme Court justice, according to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.). Schumer on Wednesday issued a statement saying that Breyer will step down from the Supreme Court at the end of the court’s term in the summer of this year. It came after numerous unnamed sources spoke to media outlets saying that Breyer, 83, would retire. The Epoch Times has contacted the Supreme Court press office for comment.
