Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is “hopping mad” over the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) decision to pull emergency use authorization of monoclonal antibody treatments and has vowed to “fight back.” On Jan. 25 more than 2,000 Floridians woke up to emails and text messages telling them their appointments to receive monoclonal therapies were canceled due to the FDA’s decision, the governor’s office reported.
