SANTA ANA, Calif.—As three Orange County Supervisor seats are up for reelection in June, Santa Ana Mayor Vincente Sarmiento announces his run for the District 2 seat on Jan. 12. In the June 7 direct primary election, Districts 2, 4, and 5 will be on the ballot for residents to cast a vote for the desired candidate to represent their cities throughout the county. Sarmiento formally announced on Wednesday he is joining the race for the district seat currently held by Sup.
