Elon Musk’s SpaceX company has reported the highest number of workplace COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles. At least 132 employees, or around 2.3 percent of its nearly 6,000 workers, at the SpaceX Corporate Headquarters in Hawthorne, California, have tested positive for the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, which causes the disease COVID-19, according to a report released by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health on Monday. Those figures account for nearly 30 percent of workplace COVID-19 cases in the county. The outbreak comes as Omicron, a more transmissible but reportedly milder variant of COVID-19, continues to spread quickly in the United States and around the globe.
