Two children have died and more were critically injured after falling from a jumping castle when it was blown into the air by a wind gust at Hillcrest Primary School in Australia’s southern island state of Tasmania on Thursday. “Several children fell from a height of about 10 metres around 10 a.m. and are currently receiving medical treatment at the scene as well as in hospitals,” Tasmania Police said in a statement. “Tragically police can confirm two children have died.” Commander Debbie Williams said a number of children were taken to hospital, with some in a critical condition. “This is a very tragic event and our thoughts are with the families and the wider school community, and also our first responders. “There is no doubt that this has been a very confronting and distressing scene. “Counselling is being made available to the families affected by this in the school community …
