Arriving in time for the holiday rush, Disneylanders can skip the line at their favorite attractions beginning Dec. 8 with the launch of the Disney Genie service. For $20 per ticket per day, the Disney Genie Plus, found on the existing Disneyland App, allows park-goers to skip wait times on multiple attractions, replacing the park’s former FastPass and MaxPass features. Disneyland recently implemented the Lightning Lane entrances for multiple attractions, allowing Genie Plus users to skip the line by choosing what time they want to ride. Visitors who purchase Disney Genie will be limited to one fast track reservation for attractions at a time. The Disney Genie service will also predict future wait times. The new technology also allows Disney fanatics to better plan their day at the theme park by offering an itinerary option.
