Governor Tom Wolf and the Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus gathered this week to bolster environmental injustice causes, unveiling new orders for the Pennsylvania Office of Environmental Justice and calling for support of the federal budget reconciliation package. Environmental justice is defined as the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race, color, national origin, or income, with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws and regulations.
