Lawyer Sidney Powell, who filed third-party election lawsuits on behalf of President Donald Trump, dropped one of her suits in Georgia where she challenged the outcome of the vote tally in the Peach State. On Tuesday, Powell requested that the Supreme Court dismiss a case that she appealed to the court in December. But about a week ago, the Supreme Court denied her request to expedite the case. “Pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 46.1, Petitioners submit this Stipulation of Dismissal, showing the agreement of all parties hereto that this case be dismissed, each party to bear their own costs. Therefore, Petitioners respectfully request that this case be dismissed,” the court filing (pdf) said. It was filed on behalf of several plaintiffs against Georgia Gov.
