Items belonging to Brian Laundrie, the person of interest in the disappearance and death of his fiancée Gabby Petito, were found in a Florida wildlife preserve, said a lawyer for his parents on Wednesday. The Sarasota County Medical Examiner’s Office was also called to the preserve, said a coroner’s office representative to Fox59. “After a brief search off a trail that Brian frequented some articles belonging to Brian were found,” said attorney Steven Bertolino in a statement to several news outlets. The unspecified items were found at the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park, located near the Carlton Reserve where the FBI and local police agencies have been combing through for weeks, Bertolino added.
