Nikolas Cruz, the accused shooter in the 2018 mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, pleaded guilty Wednesday in a Broward County court. Cruz pleaded guilty to 17 counts of murder and 17 counts of attempted murder as a 19-year-old former student involved in the nation’s deadliest school shooting.
