Kirk in Star Trek, returned safely to earth in West Texas on Wednesday, making history as the oldest person to travel to space. “I’m overwhelmed. I had no idea,” Shatner said following an 11-minute suborbital journey into weightlessness—and the history books—aboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket ship.
