The Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD) is set to start paying employees again after a month’s hiatus of new hires having missed paychecks. According to the school district, a little over 100 employees out of over 350 new hires, have gone without pay due to the school rapidly hiring new employees in a small timeframe, after being understaffed during the pandemic.
