San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) Special Edition will require all of its participants to be either fully vaccinated or test negative for COVID-19 at the San Diego Convention Center from Nov. 26–28. SDCC is a comic book convention and entertainment event held in San Diego annually since 1970. More than 130,000 people attended Comic-Con in 2019 before it was canceled twice in the summer of 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Comic-Con organizers announced on Twitter that the badge sale for their first in-person event in 2 years will start at 11 am on Sept. 25.
