A health care worker in North Carolina said he’s preparing to quit his job after President Joe Biden’s ultimatum to withhold funding from nursing home facilities that don’t mandate vaccines. On Aug. 18, Biden announced his plan to deny Medicare and Medicaid funding to nursing home facilities if they don’t require their employees to get vaccinated. It was reported that the new policy would apply to over 15,000 nursing home facilities in the United States that employ 1.3 million workers who serve 1.6 million residents.
