An Ohio craftsman has immortalized this inspiration by carving two massive wooden bald eagle sculptures, which were recently honored in a flag-raising ceremony. Local craftsman James McGrath, from McConnelsville, sculpted the giant bald eagles—“Fly By” and “Freedom”—for his client, Vietnam veteran Ron Hall.
