President Joe Biden is returning to Washington on Monday and plans to deliver an address regarding the rapidly deteriorating situation in Afghanistan, according to the White House. Biden’s schedule initially said he would receive a briefing at Camp David in Maryland, where he’s been holed up for several days. But the White House sent an update at approximately 10:59 a.m., saying Biden planned to travel to Washington in the afternoon before delivering remarks on Afghanistan at the White House.
