New Delhi—Amidst the many American flags at the Capitol Hill protests on Jan. 6, there was a solo Indian national flag that spurred an online spat between two Indian politicians while netizens joined the trending discussion, reacting and taking sides. The Indian flag was waved by an Indian American, Vincent Xavier Palathingal who is a Republican and who was present at the protest because he believed the elections were fraudulent, reported The Quint, an Indian news website.
