Former President Donald Trump’s political groups brought in $82 million during the first half of 2021, having amassed more than $100 million in the bank, according to federal filings and Trump in a statement on Saturday. The significant sum came from about 3.2 million contributions between Jan. 1 and June 30 of this year, the committee announced. Now, Trump’s political groups have about $102 million cash on hand, the former president said. “On behalf of the millions of men and women who share my outrage and want me to continue to fight for the truth, I am grateful for your support,” Trump said in a statement over the weekend. “And I can’t imagine a more important time to elect good Republicans to the House and Senate.
