Americans added two gold medals to the country’s count in the Tokyo Olympics on Thursday morning, with one swimmer setting a new record. Caeleb Dressel won the 100-meter freestyle in 47.02 seconds, setting a new Olympic record and finishing just six-hundredths of a second ahead of Australia’s Kyle Chalmers.
