Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda Solis on Sunday spoke in defense of the newly reinstated county-wide mask mandate, calling it unpleasant but necessary. The new mandate, which went into effect at a minute before midnight Saturday, requires all residents to wear masks in indoor public spaces, regardless of whether they have been vaccinated against the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus that causes COVID-19.
