A University of Chicago student died after he was struck by a stray bullet while commuting on a train on the city’s Green Line last week, according to reports. Max Lewis, a 20-year-old third-year student, was on his way home on July 1 from his summer internship in the Illinois city when he was hit in the neck by a stray bullet. He was rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center at about 6 p.m., where he was then placed on life-support.
