Former President Donald Trump said he would work to support primary challenges against Pennsylvania Republican state senators who resist election audits of the 2020 election. In a statement on Monday, Trump targeted Pennsylvania GOP Sens. Jake Corman and David Argall. It’s unclear why Argall was named by the former president as the senator previously announced he “support[s] the call for an election audit” of the commonwealth’s results but also told local media that the Senate is “still reviewing the pros and cons” of another audit.
