Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison will deliver a warning on the growing threat of conflict in the Indo-Pacific as he pushes leaders to restore penalties under the World Trade Organisation (WTO) to combat economic coercion. The warning which comes ahead of his trip to the Group of Seven (G7) international summit in the United Kingdom (UK) has been reported by News Corp’s The Australian to be Morrison’s most direct yet, in which he will call for liberal democracies to reforge Cold War cooperation to better uphold a rules-based international order.
