A motion introduced by Conservatives to push the Trudeau government to release unredacted documents concerning the deadly viruses transfer to China’s Wuhan laboratory and the firing of two Chinese scientists from Canada’s highest security laboratory was adopted Wednesday. A majority of MPs—179 versus 149—voted in favor of the motion, which calls on the federal government to produce the unredacted documents within 48 hours after the adoption of the motion.
