Thank you for putting the good news section [“Inspiring News”] summary at the top of the home page. It is nice to value good role models over bad, and to set the tone for what is normal, or at least should be, in our lives. But may I make a small suggestion for making it even better yet? The good news often involves people who are especially burdened in life due to illness or tragedy, and then some good Samaritan helps them out. Hence, the good news often has a component of bad news (that a person was burdened by something bad). How about reporting on good news? As some generic examples … my hometown paper used to report when someone got a big promotion. So some already clever man or woman did hard work and managed to reach even further. Oftentimes, we would know the person or their family. …
