Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon is being sued by his own staff prosecutors for defying state law by unilaterally deciding to ignore sentence enhancement rules under the Three Strikes Law, to stop seeking the death penalty, and ending cash bail. Left-wing billionaire George Soros donated more than $2 million to Gascon’s campaign as part of a years-long effort to install soft-on-crime prosecutors in major population centers. Soros and political action committees funded by him have also provided financial support to radical prosecutors including Chicago District Attorney Kim Foxx, St. Louis Prosecutor Kim Gardner, Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner, and Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby.
