LOS ANGELES—Authorities July 12 identified a 17-year-old boy who was killed in a shooting near the Beverly Center over the weekend that left two other people wounded.
Officers were dispatched at 3:50 a.m. July 9 to West Third Street and South Orlando Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
On Wednesday, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified the fatally wounded 17-year-old as Zackary Dickson-Hislop of Los Angeles, who died at the scene.
Paramedics took another 17-year-old boy and a 26-year-old man to a hospital, where they were listed in stable condition, police said.
The suspect, described only as a male, fled on foot southbound on Orlando Avenue, police said. According to ABC7, the shooting occurred outside Berri’s Cafe, which stays open until 4 a.m….
