A suspect is in custody after five people were killed and two more were injured in a mass shooting that unfolded in the Kingsessing section of Southwest Philadelphia on Monday night.
Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw told reporters that two who were injured are boys aged 2 and 13. They were in a stable condition at a hospital.
The shooting occurred around 8:30 p.m. in the area of 56th Street and Chester Avenue, reported The Philadelphia Inquirer.
