Hong Kong tennis player Coleman Wong Chek-lam secured his first professional tournament victory on June 25th in Tunisia’s final M15 level professional circuit men’s singles event. He defeated Italian player Luca Giacomini with a score of 2-1, becoming the first Hong Kong player ever to win a professional tennis tournament.
Currently ranked 670th in the ATP men’s singles rankings, Wong was seeded third in the competition. He defeated British and Russian players in straight sets to advance in the first two rounds.
